WMF STAKEHOLDERS’ MEETING

Welsh Music Foundation are pleased to announce that the next Stakeholders’ meeting will be held in Galeri, Caernarfon, on Wednesday 12 September, 2007.
Joining WMF for the meeting will be PPL (Phonographic Performance Limited), the Musicians' Union, and the Arts Council of Wales.
PPL will give an introduction to broadcast and public performance royalties, explaining more about how their organisation can help you get the royalties you're due. The Musicians' Union representative for Wales will discuss the services and special offers available to their members and their work within the wider music industry.
Also speaking will be Einion Dafydd, the Arts Council of Wales’ Senior Development Officer for with responsibilities for Music.
Einion will detail the Arts Council’s proposed new strategy for music, so come along and have your say!
As part of the day’s proceedings there will be a Q&A session with all organisations, giving you the chance to quiz all involved. In addition, one-to-one sessions with PPL and the MU can be arranged for that day, but we will need to be notified in advance – please contact dai@welshmusicfoundation.com to reserve a place.
This will be a great opportunity for a valuable day’s networking and to cap it all off, there will a buffet!
